The Cove, known locally as Windy Cove, is a gated community north west of Palm Springs. Built in 2007 the houses were finished, but never sold.

This entire area remains in a unique state. Rather than rot and decay, the desert heat and wind has preserved the houses, now frozen in time. Most intriguing of all is that these houses have never been lived in and show no real evidence of a previous life.

Nestled at the base of the San Jacinto Mountains ridge the strong winds are constant. Coupled with the intense heat, its hard to imagine how anyone could have initially lived here. With no evidence of a past life, it is a place where nothing has been left behind.
